Mix a bulldog from England with a ratter from France and you’ll get an adorable Frenchie! The French Bulldog is an active, intelligent and muscular dog with a smooth, short coat and a medium or small structure, between 11 and 13 inches tall, and shouldn’t weigh more than 28 pounds. Distinguishing features includes a mushed in, wrinkly face with bat-like ears that create a distinctive silhouette.
